During the winter months we have indoor meetings about bats (aimed at members and people who want more than just a basic introduction) and in the summer months members are involved in running a number of bat walks and courses for the public, as well as surveys and outings for members (you can join the group at any event). This page is currently being updated as more events are organised for the coming year.

Wednesday February 1st Malaysian bats

WEDNESDAY 29TH FEBRUARY - AGM AND TALK BY DANIEL HARGREAVES ON HIBERNATING BATS IN POLAND
The usual election of officers and review of consitution, followed by a talk from a guest speaker on the Hibernacula of Poland and the work there. Wednesday April 17th talks by Anne Porter and Kirstin aldous
Two of our members completed MSc courses in the last bat season and did projects on bats. They will explain thier results to us through talks on bat dropping morphology and foraging behaviours at the offices of White Young Green at 2 St James Gate, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom, NE1 4AD. Friday 11th May, Rising Sun country park bat walk
